Snow Day
Ah, the perks of being a teacher...the 6 am announcement of a snow day school cancellation. The cancellation today was due more to ice than snow. We started with a little snow over night, which turned to ice, and now it's raining.
I guess being married to a teacher has its perks too. I knew it must have been a snow day when Jamie said at 4 am, "I'll get her; go back to sleep." The next time my eyes opened it was 9 am.
